Why.. it isnt like we should know what to feel. The usa doesnt get many big events like that that effect so many people at once.
Why should the WTC attacks affect us more than a bombing in Israel?

What about the ones killed at the US Embassy in Kenya a few years ago? No one seems to give a damn about them. Hell....99% of the people on the street wouldnt even know what year it happened. Why isnt the loss of those Americans cared about?
I watched a little bit of 60 minutes last night and they were talking about this shit like no one had ever died before in the history of the world.
I find other aspects of September 11 MUCH more interesting than the loss of life. It happened to show an angle of the crash that I had not seen before on that show last night. It showed the first plane hitting the building head on. It was quite a site. Can you imagine piloting that thing over a city like that right into the building?
The buildings themselves...incredible designs yet changed forever in a few seconds.

I guess here is my point...if everyone wants to get all sad and "remember" the victims...why only do it on the says surrounding Sept. 11? How bout having a moment of silence for them on March 21 if you care so much? Why not shed a few tears at the end of October? And lastly, on this 11th day of September, think of the millions of people that have lived on this earth and had much more horrific deaths that those people two years ago.
I'm not saying that jumping from a building or being burned to death is a good way to go, by any means....but some have had it much worse.
Do you know how much money is going into memorials? How much money is going and has gone to bury the victims? I've heard estimates that each family will recieve 1.4 million to bury their loved ones! 1.4 million dollars!
Do you know how much you could do with that money to help LIVING Americans in this country? People are starving, children are being abused but we have no days of rememberance for them.

I was talking to someone today about the whole deal and it bothers me so much to see how they have all become martyrs...they did nothing but go to work...that's it...all the fireman who went in...risking their lives...IT WAS THEIR JOB...if they knew the buildings were gonna collapse...I bet the number would have been much lower...secondly...I have a very hard time feeling sorry for these people that I didn't even know...who knows what kinda dark secrets these people held...I saw a kid holding a picture of her 'daddy' up...saying how he is an angel and he will be missed...and I couldn't help but think...I wonder how many of these daddies were fucking their secretaries when it happened...or how many of them called their mistresses to tell them they loved them b4 calling their wives...how many pedophiles we praise every 9/11 because he died going to his 6 figure job in his 6 figure car...wearing his 4 figure suit...I wish I could just go into hibernation the whole month of September...this shit gets on my nerves...
TG... run over there with a video camera and film it and maybe someone would watch it. It is media drive and politics that keep it off your tv. Not that people dont care... more like the higher up powers are controling us like children deciding who and what we watch like a menu in a resturant. People over there morn I am sure like we morn here.
EK3.. if it bugs you so much then why keep watching it? I am sure you have enough movie to rent a DVD.
